Middle school cagers end good year

RBC I Rangely held on to win third place against Meeker in the eighth grade “A” portion of the Middle School boys’ basketball District tournament held in Craig on Dec. 6.

BMS 7th-grade B-team wins district championship

Although first-year coach Kyle Boydstun said his team was bit by the “injury bug a little,” he was still proud of how his players “stepped up” and were competitive with every team they played at the end of the season. Playing for the young Panthers in the back are Patrick Scoggins, Caleb Noel, Cameron Filfred, Brennan Noyes, Austin Ficken, Malachi Ivie and Coach Kyle Boydstun. MEEKER I The Barone Middle School boys’ basketball season has begun. They have two games under their belts going into this weekend, with home games scheduled. The seventh and eighth grade teams began their season against a tough Rangely team, dropping three games to the strong Panther offense.

RMS hosts league tourney as both teams finish fourth

RANGELY I Rangely Middle School hosted the annual league tournament last weekend. The tournament brought Meeker, Craig and Steamboat Springs to town. Both the seventh-grade and eighth-grade Rangely teams finished fourth.
