Rector Memorial Cribbage Tournament…

The fourth annual Carl Rector Memorial Cribbage Tournament was held Saturday in Rangely with 16 players from around Northwestern Colorado. The winner was Jim Baffam of the Maybell/Craig area and second place went to Tim Webber of Rangely, both of whom won new cribbage boards. Also among the players was Rio Blanco County Sheriff Anthony Mazzola, second from right, and, according to Peggy Rector, front right, two women took part. Sitting next to the sheriff are, his wife, Cheryl of Meeker, and Margaret Slaugh of Rangely, back left, who agreed that the game is fun and that anyone can learn to play.

Cribbage tournament Saturday in Rangely at Rangely Elks Club

RANGELY | The annual Carl Rector Memorial Cribbage tournament, sponsored by Silver Sage RV Park, will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Elks 1907 BPOE (633 East Main) in Rangely. Players will be able to sign up on-site. The entry fee includes lunch. All proceeds benefit the Elks Club Kids’ programs.
