Circus performers keep rare art form alive for new era

The Culpepper and Merriweather Circus gave two performances in Rangely on Friday and two performances in Meeker on Saturday to the delight of many adults and throngs of children. Above, the Arlise Troupe, a Canadian unicycling family, spin hand in hand during their portion of the performance. The circus featured thrilling acts of danger, exotic animals, magic, acrobats and acts of deception.

Skeeter the Clown to visit before circus

MEEKER | The Meeker Chamber of Commerce would like to invite children and adults of all ages to a special reading and activity session with Skeeter, the Culpepper & Merriweather circus clown, at 10 a.m. on July 10 at the Meeker Public Library.
