An annual non-denominational Easter sunrise service is held three miles south of Rangely. Local pastors rotate the brief music and message time. Some 60 people attended this year’s service, which was followed by a community breakfast at the Living Waters Church in Rangely. The image was taken at 6:50 a.m. on Easter.

MEEKER — The Meeker Community choir will present an Easter Cantata Sunday at 5 p.m. The performance will be directed by Anna Todd. The Easter Cantata will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel located on 903 Third St.
