MEEKER | Meeker Arts and Cultural Council (MACC) meets Monday, March 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the old Meeker Elementary School gymnasium to consider ongoing and new projects including:

Dinner theater in Meeker Feb. 23

The Meeker Arts and Cultural Council in cooperation with the ERBM Recreation and Park District will present a dinner theatre production based on Aesop’s Fables, Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Fairfield Center. The cast includes local community actors and members of the school drama club. MACC to host enrichment seminars

MEEKER I The Meeker Arts and Cultural Council (MACC) has begun a project to host guest presenters from area higher education performing and fine arts departments which will be made available to local youth and adults interested in learning about and improving their skills and knowledge for performing arts and fine arts.

“Seussical, Jr.,” a renaissance for youth theatre

MEEKER I Meeker theater patrons of “Seussical, Jr.’s” Friday and Saturday performances were treated to one of the finest and most delightful performing arts productions ever given in Meeker.

“Seussical, Jr.” musical debuts

Cast members of the musical Seussical Jr. dance during a recent dress rehearsal before their upcoming performances Friday and Saturday. More than 50 young thespians have been rehearsing since August for Friday’s performance at 6 p.m. And Saturday’s performance at 3 p.m., both in the Meeker High School Auditorium.
