New Meeker B&B…

A ribbon cutting was held Thursday evening for the new Bear Mountain Inn Bed & Breakfast in Meeker; the site is the location of what was the Rambullinn at 789 8th St., formerly owned by Gus and Christine Halandras. Cheryl and Dale Houser are the new owners of the bed and breakfast, and they report good occupancy already during the hunting season. Workplace drugs to be topic of luncheon

MEEKER I The next Meeker Chamber of Commerce’s local Business Leader Luncheon will be held Friday featuring a free barbecue lunch from 1 to 2 p.m., hosted by Rocky Mountain Toxicology at their office at 73544 Highway 64 (the old BLM Building).

Roughly 20 people took part in the meeting.

Entries due for July 4 parade

MEEKER I The Meeker Chamber of Commerce is now accepting entries for the Range Call Parade, to be held at 10 a.m. on July 4 in downtown Meeker. The parade will have the theme of “The Race is On.”
