Fun, free rides to Meeker Classic sheepdog trials

Ann Marie Scritchfield, owner of Sable Mountain Outfitters, will provide free carriage rides from the courthouse square in Meeker to Ute Park during the sheepdog trials Friday and Saturday. Pioneers Medical Center will provide a van to pick up passengers at White River Inn, The Blue Spruce in and Meeker Hotel downtown. A complete schedule is posted at the Post Office in Meeker.

MEEKER I No need to spend $4 per gallon for gas or hassle with traffic or parking. Once again, thanks to the generosity of Ann Marie Scritchfield and Sable Mountain Outfitters and the Pioneers Medical Center, you can take a free van or carriage ride to and from the trials site in Ute Park.
