Doll honored at Fort Hays State University

MEEKER I Former Meeker High School graduate and multiple-time Colorado state track champion Kathryn Doll was recently honored by Fort Hays State University for her academic accomplishment of a 3.55 grade point average, pursuing a degree in nursing in Hays, Kan.

Dolphin trip benefit bingo set

MEEKER I Meeker students who are participating in this summer’s dolphin research trip to Belize are holding a fundraiser chili supper, Bingo and bake auction Wednesday. The event begins with supper at 6 p.m. at the Rio Blanco County Fairgrounds in Meeker and is followed by Bingo, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
