Six MHS seniors have military duty in their future

MEEKER I Six students in Meeker High School’s 2014 senior class have already made up their minds that their future will involve the military and serving America through various branches of the Armed Forces.

MHS, CNCC teacher elected to science board

MEEKER I The National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), the largest professional organization in the world promoting excellence and innovation in science teaching and learning for all, welcomed four new members to its Board of Directors including a multiple-award winning teacher from Meeker High School.

Voytko resigns as Meeker High School principal

MEEKER I Jeremy Voytko, the principal at Meeker High School for the past year, turned in his letter of resignation on May 15.

MEEKER I The Meeker High School Drama Club and International Thespian Society Troupe 1284’s production of the musical comedy “Thoroughly Modern Millie” was presented on Friday and Saturday at Meeker High School auditorium.

MHS to graduate 47 on Saturday

MEEKER I Forty-seven seniors at Meeker High School will receive their high school diplomas this weekend, marking the end of the 2012-13 school year.

MHS Spring Show, Coffee House

Visitors check out some of the art work displayed at the Meeker Elementary School as part of the Meeker High School Spring Art Show and Coffee House. The coffee house was held to showcase the MHS students’ performing arts, and talents included singing, instrumentals, poetry, dance and humor.

MEEKER I Meeker High School students produced an abundance of art this year and it was displayed at the Meeker Elementary School library for the Spring Show and Coffee House.
