Meeker swimming pool lifeguards reunite after 50 years

The Meeker Swimming Pool located in City Park near 3rd and Water streets was built in 1957 and was a five-lane 25-yard pool with a diving board and also had a wading pool for small children.

MHS alumnae Sprod receives award

National FFA scholarship awarded to MHS grad

Thirty-six seniors earned their diplomas and were graduated from Meeker High School last Saturday in Starbuck Stadium.

Tucker’s legacy continues through scholarship

For the past five years, the Bob Tucker Memorial Golf Tournament has raised funds for a scholarship given every year to a Meeker High School senior.

Academic all-state students named

Nineteen MHS students were honored by CHSAA and named to the academic all-state teams. Twelve were named to the first team and seven were honorably mentioned.

Meeker schools host open house tonight

MEEKER I Barone Middle School, Meeker High School and the administration building will be open today from 4 to 8 p.m. to allow students and parents to see the new classroom arrangements.
