LIONS LENDING A HAND

On April 4, the Meeker Lions Club installed new shelving units for the New Eden Pregnancy Care Center. New Eden asked the Lion’s Club to help them come up with more storage for items within the building, and the Lion’s Club raised money to purchase shelves. OPAL MUNGER PHOTOS

Breakfast with Santa 2023

Ain’t it Grand …

The 34th annual Colorado Grand rolled into downtown Meeker Tuesday with 100s of classic cars and thousands of dollars in donations for the Meeker Lions Club and HopeWest. Volunteers served the group lunch before they set out on the next leg of their journey.

Out on the town …

Meeker celebrated National Night Out on Tuesday at town Park, complete with food, ERBM Recreation & Park District’s inflatables, and a basketball tournament. White River Electric Association (WREA) once again held its annual member appreciation and membership meeting in conjunction with the final Meekerpalooza of the season last Friday. The Meeker Lions Club, which celebrates its 100th year this year, dedicated the installation of new playground equipment at the Admin Building on Sixth Street to the Town of Meeker last Saturday.
