Cowboy football coach Ron Dupree was thankful for his new kicker, senior Cooper Smith. Most of Smith’s kickoffs were for touchbacks and he kicked two field goals (one for 38 yards and another for 42 yards).

RBC I Meeker found a new way to put the ball on the ground Friday night and lost their homecoming game 6-24. In a game that was close up until the middle of the fourth quarter, the Black and Gold again came up short.

MEEKER I The Cowboys are getting off to a slow start in 2011. The team, with only five seniors, seems to improve on some parts of the game each week, but has slipped in others.
