MEEKER I Senior Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet (D-Denver) made a quiet visit to Meeker High School (MHS) last week. Seven MHS seniors who have had considerable experience with concurrent enrollment (CE) courses spent nearly 45 minutes in discussion with the senator and Superintendent Chris Selle.

MEEKER I Maggie Phelan, Meeker High School National Honor Society president, has announced that Meeker native Stan Hilkey, executive director of the Colorado Department of Public Safety, will be the keynote speaker at their annual induction ceremony Monday.
MHS names student government leaders
MEEKER I Apparently believing that all are tired of extended campaigning, Meeker High School held student government class elections the first day of school last week. Class officers and student council representatives now join the student council officers elected in the spring in forming MHS student governance.
