New Eden hosts month-long diaper drive

New Eden Pregnancy Care Services of Meeker and Rangely is hosting a diaper and wipes drive through the month of April. Of the items women come to the center to receive help with, diapers are the biggest need, Meeker center director Krystle Dunton said. New Eden has set up donation areas at the Family Dollar and White River Market in Rangely, at Watt’s Ranch Market in Meeker and in local churches in both communities, including this “donation station” at Rangely’s First Baptist Church. All diaper sizes and brands are welcome.

RBC I For many families in Rio Blanco County, paying monthly bills is complicated by another expense: diapers. With the cost of keeping one child in clean, dry diapers ranging upward of $100 per month, the expense is a hardship for one in three American families, according to many “diaper bank” service organizations.
