Curtis “Bud” Duffy of Meeker, Colo., passed away March 4, 2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction. He was 76.

Lifetime Rio Blanco County resident Muriel Devereaux was taken from us by her Lord on Feb. 23, 2013, with her family by her side.

: Grant Ericksen Nielsen was born in Mount Pleasant, Utah, on July 29, 1923, the fourth of five children of Soren M. Nielsen and Florence Ericksen Nielsen.
Marguerite Clarke Moreland Goudeau was born July 28, 1921, and died peacefully Feb. 13, 2013, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Big Cane, La., to Samuel Lovel Moreland and Ophelia Clarke Moreland, now deceased.

Joanna Dawn “Jody” Brumback went to be with her Lord and Savior on Feb. 5, 2013, finally free of the burden and bonds her body had placed on her for so long.

Judith Marie Jenista (Evenson) was born in Glenwood Springs, Colo., on May 9, 1943 to Gerhard and Jeanette Evenson. She was raised on the family ranch known as Evenson Guest Ranch, east of Meeker, Colo.
Beloved father and friend, Edward Frank Amato, Jr., born May 5, 1942 in Denver, Colo., to Edward and Alice Amato, passed away in Meeker, Colo., Dec. 26, 2012.

Glendene Louise Breshears passed away Jan. 25, 2013, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born Aug. 26, 1938, in Tarkio, Mo., Ron passed away at the age of 74 on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Pioneers Medical Center in Meeker, Colo. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara (Bobbie), his sister Linda (Kurt) McCombs of Denver, six children: David (Tammy) Leeper

Beverly J. Bloch, nee Beverly Jean Fritzlan, was born in Meeker, Colo., on Nov. 9, 1952, to Calvin and Arlene (Gulliford) Fritzlan.

RBC I On Saturday, the Meeker baseball team played what was supposed to be the first home games of the season against the Rangley Panthers, but the games were moved to Rangley after the Meeker fields were subject to rain and snow.
