Laura Irene Osborne Crandell passed away Sept. 16, 2012. She was born in Montrose, Colo., Nov. 23, 1914.

Duane Vincent Kenney, 74, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and formerly of Rangely and Littleton, Colo., passed away Aug. 29, 2012, at his home.

Dean Delos Parr was born in Hayden, Colo., on Oct. 12, 1930, to Nora Louise Hay and Richard Delos Parr.

ArlandKay Thomas Shaw “Shag,” 36, of Rangely, Colo., formally of Gunnison, Utah, passed away Aug. 18, 2012, in Rangely from a car accident.

Becky Smith Johnson passed away on Aug. 13, 2012, at the Uintah Care Center in Vernal, Utah. At the time of her passing, Becky bravely battled Huntington’s Disease and cancer. Becky was born in Vernal, Utah, on Nov. 5, 1954, to George Smith Sr. and Mary Shevechick.
Longtime Eckert, Colo., resident, Clifford “Shady” Lane, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at Horizon’s Care Center in Eckert, Colo. He was 89 years of age. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

RBC I On Saturday, the Meeker baseball team played what was supposed to be the first home games of the season against the Rangley Panthers, but the games were moved to Rangley after the Meeker fields were subject to rain and snow.
