Middle school cagers end good year

Members of the successful Barone Middle School seventh grade boys’ basketball team are Phil Arnold, Charles Curry, Elijah Deming, Josh Dinwiddie, Brennan Ibach, Alex Llamas-Lopez, Nick Massey, Juan Oliva, Todd Patterson, Tanner Ridgeway, Cole Rogers, Jake Shelton, Colton Wille and Ridge Williams.

RBC I Rangely held on to win third place against Meeker in the eighth grade “A” portion of the Middle School boys’ basketball District tournament held in Craig on Dec. 6.

The Rangely Junior High School boys’ seventh- and eighth-grade basketball teams were in Meeker Saturday to play the Steamboat Springs Sailors and Soroco Rams.

BMS 7th-grade B-team wins district championship

Although first-year coach Kyle Boydstun said his team was bit by the “injury bug a little,” he was still proud of how his players “stepped up” and were competitive with every team they played at the end of the season. Playing for the young Panthers in the back are Patrick Scoggins, Caleb Noel, Cameron Filfred, Brennan Noyes, Austin Ficken, Malachi Ivie and Coach Kyle Boydstun.
