Dear Editor: This is an open letter to residents of the Rangely and other parts of Rio Blanco County. We want to extend a huge “thank you” to all who have donated toward the 1913 school house foundation restoration project at Rangely Museum.

During Septemberfest in Rangely over the Labor Day weekend, the Rangely Museum held its annual ice cream social on Sunday as well as unveiled its new hand-painted, non-stencil sign, done by noted local artist Tabitha Hejl, pictured above.

The Rangely Museum has a critical situation that involves replacing the roofs on the Chevron Recreation Building and the Chevron Camp House.

RANGELY | The Rangely Museum is taking donations to replace roofing on the Chevron Recreation Building and Chevron Camp House; the current roofing will not last through winter without causing major damage to the inner walls and ceilings.
