Rangely High School golfers open fall season

Making the Rangely High School varsity golf team for the first two tournaments of the season were Marshal Way, Nick Burri, Calvin Shepherd, Robert Dunker and Andrew Morton. Since Meeker does not have a golf team, Burri and Shepherd have joined the Rangely team.

RANGELY | School starts next week in Rangely, but the high school golf season has already begun and the Rangely varsity team will have already played in four tournaments before the first school bell rings.

2013 Coed Softball Championships

Ace won a consolation game against WREA on Tuesday and will have had to beat the defending champions twice yesterday after press time to win the title. Rangely only had to win once.

Rangely True Value advances to championship game RBC | Sometimes in a tournament, the best match-ups to watch are in the semifinals because both teams try their hardest, with the winner advancing to the championship and the loser to the consolation bracket.

Abestos abatement work begins with CNCC’s Rector Building

A HAZMAT crew is working on cleaning up the Rector Building on the campus of Colorado Northwestern Community College in Rangely. The full HAZMAT suit is required because of the presence of asbestos, which must be removed before the reconstruction/remodel of the Rector Building, one 
of the earlier buildings on 
the campus.

RANGELY I For the first three weeks of August, Armando Lopez and his team from Elite Environmental Services will be doing asbestos abatement and demolition to clear the area of the last portions of asbestos in the Rector Building on the Colorado Northwestern Community College campus in Rangely.
