Spring has sprung and summer is on its way in Rio Blanco County! Local 4-H members are diligently working on various projects from scrap booking to steer projects, eagerly awaiting the first week of August for the County Fair.

RBC’s Got Talent

The Rio Blanco County Fair is hosting the first annual Rio Blanco County’s Got Talent Show on Friday, Aug, 3 after the 4-H/FFA Steer show.

RBC car show synopsis

The annual car show will take place Monday, Sept. 2 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on the west end of Elks Park in Rangely.

Nine cars participated in the first annual Rio Blanco County Fair Car Show on Saturday Aug. 6. The goal was to have ten cars attend.

The Rio Blanco County fair is always one of my favorite events to attend and to photograph. Lots of kids, all hustling, smiling, wet and muddy, while preparing for show time.

Speaker coming to RBC Fair

RBC | A speaker from the National Beef Speakers Bureau will visit the Rio Blanco County Fair this year. Jo Stanko from Steamboat Springs will be speaking from 9-9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 6.

Shooting Sports contestants

Twenty-eight RBC 4-H shooters competed in the annual Rio Blanco County Fair County Shoot-off at the Meeker Sportsman’s Range Saturday last. Rangely formed two new clubs this year: the Rangely Stick Throwers (an archery club) led by James Odom and Brady Shelton and .22’s led by Daniel and Tammi Dorris.
