Republicans turn out to vote at 62 percent; 30 percent of Dems vote

RBC I Tuesday’s election day belonged to the Republicans in Rio Blanco County as they had at least a couple of contested races while the county Democrats had none. Nevertheless, there is an indicator in even uncontested races as to how popular a candidate is when votes received are measured against other uncontested candidates.

Hill, Eskelson earn most delegates

RBC I Jon Hill and Jeff Eskelson’s names will appear on top of the ballot as the two received the most delegates’ votes in the two races for Rio Blanco County commissioner at the 2012 RBC Republican General Assembly held last Saturday in the Colorado Room on the CNCC campus.
