Panthers open season in Utah

RANGELY I With snow still on the field, the Rangely High School baseball team has been practicing inside for most of the past two weeks. The lack of field time showed in three games the Panthers played last weekend in Moab, Utah.

RANGELY I The Rangely Panther baseball team’s season came to an end with a loss to Resurrection Christian in the first round of the regional tournament last week but head coach Paul Fortunato is proud of his team’s season and excited for next year.

The Rangely Panthers baseball team (7-7) is currently on a seven game win streak with wins over Unitah, Rifle, a doubleheader against Meeker and win against Grand Valley.

Denny invited to play in all-state game

RANGELY I Rangely High School standout senior Kacey Denny has been asked to play in the Colorado 2A all-state baseball game to be held today at Machebeuf High School in Denver, Colo.

Panthers defeat Cowboys

The Rangely Panther baseball team defeated the Meeker Cowboys last Saturday 12-1 in the first game and 9-8 in the second, on a cold day.
