Lady Panthers split league games

RANGELY I The lady Panthers volleyball team traveled to Paonia and Hayden last weekend for two league matches, losing in Paonia but winning in Hayden last Saturday. Rangely will host Vail Mountain Friday in the “Think Pink” game, played in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Rangely volleyball team wins at home vs. Soroco

RANGELY I The Rangely High School volleyball team remained undefeated in league games after winning its homecoming match against Soroco Friday last and beating Vail Christian the following day.

Panthers win two v’ball matches

RANGELY I The lady Panthers won their first two league volleyball matches last week and will host the Soroco Rams from Oak Creek this Friday for Rangely’s 2012 homecoming.

Eight volleyball seniors will lead Lady Panthers

The Rangely High School volleyball team will be led by eight seniors this season including (back) Kellsie Nash, Kelsey Prosser, Quincey Thacker, Brittany Babineaux and Shelby Neiberger. (Front) Leslie Hernandez and Heather Turner. Myriah Moreno is not pictured. The Panthers will travel to Montrose for a scrimmage this Saturday and open the season in Glenwood Springs next week.

RANGELY I Eight seniors will lead the lady Panther volleyball team this year. After two weeks of practice, the team will travel to Montrose this Saturday for a scrimmage before opening the season the following week in Glenwood Springs.

Panthers end season at regionals

Rangely’s only senior Haeley Enterline tries to get the ball past Meeker senior Adrienne Wix’s block. Meeker and Rangely finished third and fourth respectively in the regional tournament ending the season for the Rio Blanco County seniors.

RBC ladies head to regionals

Both Rio Blanco County volleyball teams will represent their schools this Saturday in the state-qualifying regional tournament to be held at Palisade High School. The Cowboys won the district title and the Panthers finished second. Mancos and Telluride will compete against Meeker and Rangely in pool play to determine the top two teams to advance to the Colorado State Volleyball Championships next week in Denver.

RANGELY I The Rangely Panthers only played one match this past weekend against the Soroco Rams and now prepare for a big homecoming weekend against two tough league opponents: Paonia and Vail Mountain.

RANGELY I The Rangely volleyball team traveled to Meeker last weekend for triangular format play. They had two matches Saturday, both league games, against Vail Christian and Meeker.

Panthers earn big win over Tigers

The Rangely volleyball team came away from the weekend with a big win over the Hayden Tigers, despite having to take the court without without senior Quincy Thacker, who missed the game due to illness, and a rolled ankle that took Brittney Babineaux out of play during the game.
