RANGELY I Cold, clear weather marked the Veterans Day unveiling of the sculpture “Sacrifice and Resolution” in Rangely’s Hefley Park on Tuesday afternoon.

Veterans in Rio Blanco County were honored in Rangely and Meeker last weekend in recognition of Veterans Day, Sunday, Nov. 11.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Meeker VFW and Women’s Auxiliary presented the VFW Pledge of Allegiance award to preschoolers. It is a certificate of good citizenship and Pledge of Allegiance award.
