RBC I An affinity for small towns and an early interest in electricity have landed Alan Michalewicz as the new general manager of White River Electric Association, headquartered in Meeker.
WREA: No rate hike for residential, commercial customers
RBC I The White River Electric Association Board of Directors approved the 2014 Rate Schedule at its regularly scheduled November board meeting, and it was decided that there will not be an increase in residential power rates for the year.

WREA hosts 29th annual golf tournament
MEEKER I For the past 29 years, the White River Electric Association has brought employees, friends and business associates together for a fun, yet competitive five-person scramble golf tournament at Meeker Golf Course each June. On Friday, two of the 14 teams held a putt-off to determine the winner.
