RANGELY | This weekend was the opening weekend for Rangely Middle School volleyball against Soroco. Three of the four teams played.
The silver team—all sixth graders—played very well against Soroco coming out with a win.
“We had some amazing serving in both games against Soroco with the top silver player being Laurie Ward. The rest of the team worked well together and have improved each day,” said coach Patsy Wanstedt.
The green and black teams worked hard on rotations for the last two weeks, which they ran during the games. They did not come out with a win but worked hard as a team. Both teams are determined to work harder to come out with a win next time.
“We want to thank all of the fans for coming out to support these girls and all of their hard work,” said coach Wanstedt.
