Three Panthers win gold at tourney

RANGELY I Twenty Rangely youth wrestlers competed in the Bad Dog youth wrestling tournament Saturday in Craig, and many will end the season Saturday in Parachute.
Landon Carlson, Breckin McElhaney and Zane Varner each won gold medals while Jaden Heredia, Tyce Lucero, Kobey Chism, Brody McElhandey, Karver Lamoreaux and Tytus Coombs all earned silvers.
Carmella Fortunato, Brode Low, Marcos Quintana, Wyatt Zulfelt, Corbin Lucero, Bryron Mackay, Dontea Peacock and Tim Stieb were all consolation champs.
Meanwhile, Bryce Willis, Kasen LeBleu and Luis Quintana placed fourth as Jared Peacock earned a participation medal.
