Only about 12 people were on hand for the town hall meeting with U.S. Rep. Scott Tipton on May 30 at the Freeman E. Fairfield Center in Meeker. Tipton updated those present on a variety of subjects ranging from water rights issues to fire danger due to bark beetles to the congressional budget sequestration.
Sometimes people do not attend meetings like this do so due to their prior commitments made well in advance of the announcement of this event.
Would have appreciated attending but no one consulted my calender! Oh well, I do have Mr. Tipton’s email address and use it to communicate with him on a variety of issues. Others may communicate with him as well that way; and for those who do not have his email address, go to his website, http://tipton.house.gov/ to contact him.
