RANGELY | Three Panther wrestlers competed in Oak Creek last Saturday and two of them placed in the top three. The Panthers will compete in another tournament Saturday in Kremmling.
Rangely freshman Tytus Coombs advanced to the championship match in the 120-pound bracket and finished second. Freshman classmate Justin Rusher was the consolation champ in the 132-pound bracket and senior Landon Rowley did not place in the 138-pound bracket.
“We have lots to work on but for our first showing this year, I was very happy with how we wrestled,” Rangely head coach Travis Witherell said.
