A rollover accident claimed the lives of three men last week. Of course there are lessons to be learned and the first one I personally will work on is compassion. One never knows when a tragic accident will take the life of a loved one. Writing from experience, I’m thankful for the outpouring of compassion from the people in our small communities, when tragedy happens.
No lesson could be learned soon enough to change the fact three men, three sons, fathers, brothers, uncles and friends are gone.
I knew Joe “Joey” Orris, I was a classmate of his sister Judy, my younger brother graduated with him and my little sister was graduated from Meeker High School with his youngest sister Maxine. It’s a small world.
I hope to see many of my classmates and friends this afternoon at Joey’s memorial service at the Fairfield Center, to show our compassion to Joey’s mom, sister and my classmate Judy.
My thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of Joey, Steve and Ryan.
