The van used by the Meeker School District food service program has, at long, last, received a fresh coat of paint. Cindy S. Nelson, director of the food service program, has been working on this project since she became director eight years ago. “The van was in great need of a makeover and I was not going to stop pushing until we had results,” said Nelson. “We are driving from school to school with this van and I felt it should have some kind of a professional presentation.” Nelson said thanks are due to Wade Bradfield of Meeker Collision for donating labor and materials for the new paint job and to Meeker High School art instructor Ben Quinn and his students who have helped design and create graphics that will be painted on the van as well.
