Veterans’ memorial…

Hoot Gibson, Commander of V.F.W. Post 5162 in Rangely, recently presented a maquette of the Veterans’ Memorial to Rangely mayor Frank Huitt (trustees Clayton Gohr and Brad Casto are also pictured) at a recent town council meeting in recognition of the town’s financial support of the project. Veterans in Rio Blanco County have been raising funds to erect statues of bigger than life modern-day soldiers in Meeker and Rangely.
