Vision help for people 55 and older

RANGELY | Thanks to a generous American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the Independent Living Center is pleased to make available, at no charge, low vision assessments and assistive technology assessments in our Rio Blanco County service area for people aged 55 or more who have significant vision loss. “Significant vision loss” means that a person is not able to read a newspaper even with regular prescription glasses. Grant funds will go away after Sept. 30. The Assistive Technology assessments will be performed by Carol Inglis. Adaptive computer instruction is also available.
