MEEKER | The Walbridge Wing at Pioneers Medical Center is the recipient of the 2018 Pinnacle Customer Experience Award™ for nine areas of service and care. Pinnacle Quality Insight is a business to business organization offering phone-based customer satisfaction interviews for senior and long-term care facilities. As a well-established third party, Pinnacle Quality Insight conducts thousands of monthly surveys to create comprehensive reviews about the quality of care.
The surveys evaluate a variety of categories including overall safety, communication, care of patients, response to problems, treatment and dignity of patients, cleanliness, quality of food, activities, and chaplain services. The Walbridge Wing has been recognized for excellent service and care in the following areas: nursing care, dining service, cleanliness, individual needs, laundry service, response to problems, dignity and respect, recommend to others and activities.

The Walbridge Wing is a long-term skilled nursing facility located in Meeker at the Pioneers Medical Center campus. The facility provides great care to our elderly community of Northwest Colorado. The Walbridge Memorial Wing, affectionately known as “The Wing” offers private rooms and a home-like environment. The goal at The Wing is to create “a place to live” for our residents. Residents have the freedom to make individual choices through private rooms, open dining, and being involved in their own care decisions. They enjoy a variety of activities and diversions throughout the day. Another aspect of living at The Wing is the close relationships between the residents, students, and church groups, etc. providing many opportunities for residents to stay involved with the community.
Walbridge Memorial Wing is licensed for 30 beds. The individual rooms are clean and bright, and residents are encouraged to personalize their space. We strive to maintain an optimal staff to resident ratio. Our care team of over 30 nurses, certified nursing assistants, and support staff provide compassionate care and personal attention to each and every resident. The Wing is conveniently attached to Pioneers Medical Center and the Meeker Family Health Clinic. This provides easy access to physician care and rapid response in case of an emergency.
