Watt may display sign part of the year

MEEKER I Harry Watt’s battle with the town of Meeker over a sign he had painted on the side of a truck is over.
He can continue to use the truck to advertise the Blue Spruce Inn, for at least half of the year.
At a hearing Nov. 5, Judge Laurie Noble issued her decision, based upon a stipulation of the parties. The judge’s order read as follows: “The temporary sign, advertising the Blue Spruce Inn, attached to the defendant’s 1972 International truck may be visible from Aug. 1 through Dec. 31 of each year and may be parked at different locations so long as the sign placement comports with municipal ordinances, rules and regulations regarding temporary signage. The temporary sign must be covered and therefore not visible to the public from Jan. 1 through July 31 of each year with the exception of the Fourth of July parade in which the sign will be made a part of a float and visible on that one and only occasion.
