RANGELY | Miss Merridy Ellen Maybury and Mr. Cody Ray Abbott were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 8 at 6 p.m. The ceremony took place in the courtyard of the Marriott Courtyard Hotel in Grand Junction. The bride is the daughter of David and Becky Maybury of Battlement Mesa (formerly of Rangely), and the groom is the son of Dan and Susan Hoover of Battlement Mesa and Rick Abbott of Missouri. The Rev. Ron Higura officiated the ceremony. Matron of honor was Renee Joyce (LaNoue) and the bridesmaids were Lacie Christensen, Chandra Maybury and Dayna Hazlewood. Best man was Nate Schaeffer and groomsmen were Rowdie Hamilton, Travis Christensen and Brandon Zarlingo. The flower girl was Alexis Zarlingo and the ring bearers were Jace Maybury and Noah Hoover. Ushers were James and Jeremy Maybury.
