WEEKLY CALL REVIEW
AT THE RIO BLANCO COUNTY SHERIFF’S DISPATCH CENTER
March 9-15, 2020
Meeker Dispatch Center administered 323 phone calls last week including 11 911 calls, 45 calls for Meeker Police Department (MPD) and placed 78 outgoing calls. A total of 119 calls for service were created, 32 for the Sheriff’s Office, 43 for MPD.
Note the department breakdown of calls may differ from the total number reported due to individual incidents with multiple agencies responding.
– Law enforcement conducted 20 traffic stops
– Sheriff’s Deputies issued warnings on seven stops
– Meeker PD issued warnings on 13 stops
– There were no DUIs or traffic arrests
– One traffic crash occurred in RBC and four assists with CSP.
Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 32 requests for service
– One 911 hang ups/tests
– Two animal calls
– Seven attempts to serve civil papers
– Two traffic complaints
– One each: civil, K-9 deployment, security check, traffic hazard, traffic crash, trespass, VIN
Meeker Police Department responded to 43 requests for service
– One 911 misdials/tests
– Two alarms
– Three agency assists
– Four animal calls
– 21 business checks
– Two citizen assists
– Three motorist assists
– Two traffic complaints
– Two VIN inspections
– One each: harassment, juvenile problem theft, warrant arrest
Meeker Fire and Rescue responded to seven calls
– Three ambulance requests, three medical transports, one assist with CSP on a minor injury accident.
Rio Blanco Detentions
– 11 current inmates, nine males and two females
– Three warrant arrests
– Eight booked, four by RBCSO, one each from MPD, RPD and CSP
– Seven inmates released
– Three transports to or from other facilities.
