RBC | In a press conference Monday from the White House, the president, and his coronavirus task force, announced new recommendations for all states with evidence of community transmission (which includes Colorado) to follow over the next 15 days in an attempt to slow the spread of the virus.
Those recommendations include closing all schools, avoiding groups of more than 10 people, avoiding discretionary travel, and avoiding going out to eat, drink or gather at indoor and outdoor venues where people congregate such as restaurants and gyms.
The new guidelines are nationwide, and the president explained that everyone needs to comply with the new guidelines for them to work.
“Our experts say this is the best chance we have for slowing the spread of the virus,” said Vice-President Mike Pence. “We’re calling on every American to do their part.”
