RBC I The Rio Blanco County Woolgrowers Association will hold its annual meeting on March 7 at Kilowatt Korner, beginning at 9 a.m. with the White River Trail LLC meeting, followed at 10 a.m. with general business.
Lunch will be served, but RSVPs must be turned in immediately to ensure there is enough food. The event is being catered by Holliday’s.
Presentations will be given by the Colorado Woolgrowers, American Sheep Industry, Wildlife Services, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Forest Service and the Meeker Classic to follow lunch.
Angelo Theos is president of the local group, Tony Theos is vice president, Connie Theos is secretary/treasurer, Ila Sturgeon is chair of the 4-H awards Committee, Jeanne Jones is chair of the Scholarship Committee and Olga and Phil Jannus are joint chairs of the Rio Blanco County Fair Displays and public information.
Anyone interested in sheep or goats is invited and encouraged to attend. Whether you have sheep or goats now or did in the past or are planning to get into the business in the future, all are welcome.
