RANGELY I The Rangely youth wrestling team continued its success in Hayden on Saturday with 20 kids wrestling, including 13 in the championship match.
Many of the young Panthers will be in Meeker on Saturday for the Casey Turner Memorial Tournament.
“The boys are improving drastically as the weeks progress,” coach Andy Lucero said.
Jaden Heredia, Tyce Lucero,Karver Lamoreaux and Zane Varner each wrestled in the championship match of their brackets and won.
Kamden Williams, Kobey Chism, Anthony Dorris, Aden Bishop, Colin Zadra, Tytus Coombs, Dontea Pearce and Braxton Bishop all placed second.
Carmella Fortunato, Calvin Bishop and Byron Mackay each lost one match and finished as consolation champions, while Breckin McElhaney was fourth.
Drew Zadra, Landon Williams, Jedidiah Vandewark and Wyatt Zufelt all wrestled in Hayden put did not place in the top four.
