MEEKER I The Meeker Chamber of Commerce has been organizing the downtown Range Call events for the past several years. This year, there will be a carnival, various vendors, a July 4 free concert featuring Junior Giant, a watermelon eating contest and a special feature — the chamber dunk tank. This is where people will have an opportunity to throw their best pitch in an effort to cause some of “Meeker’s finest” to be dropped into a large tank of water beginning at 11 a.m. and lasting until 3 p.m. Saturday.
