Young named senior vice president

MEEKER I Todd Young, formerly bank manager of the First National Bank of the Rockies – Meeker office, has been named senior vice president of retail banking. In this new position Young manages the FNBR bank managers at all 10 locations across western Colorado. In addition Young oversees the retail banking operations for FNBR.
Young originally started with FNBR in January 2004 as a vice president and commercial lender. Soon thereafter he became manager of the Craig office. Young took a break from banking in 2007 and rejoined the FNBR team in 2009 to manage FNBR’s Meeker office.
Originally from St. Clair, Tenn., Young began his banking career as a bank manager, commercial lender and marketing director for First Community Bank of East Tennessee. Young is a 1988 graduate of Carson Newman College and a 2005 graduate of the University of Colorado-Boulder graduate school of banking.
