Youth basketball …

Meeker’s third- and fourth-grade girls’ basketball team may be small in numbers but they are big in heart. For most of the girls this is their first taste of a traveling basketball league and they are rising to the challenge. Halfway through their season they have been able to achieve a 4-0 record. The girls have a game Dec. 1 in Rifle against New Castle and the Dec. 8 they play at home against Parachute and Silt 1. (Front row, left to right) Brynlee Williams, Hailey Knowles, Kelbe Collins.
