RBC I A Meeker man could face more than $12,000 in fines because of alleged hunting violations. The Colorado Division of Wildlife is continuing its investigation of Kenneth Coughlin, 53, who was issued a summons for illegal possession, hunting in a closed area and a “Samson” surcharge.

BMS football, volleyball teams are winners
RBC | Both Barone Middle School football teams won big last week, with the A team winning 50-6 and the B team 46-0. Meanwhile, the Rangely seventh- and eighth-graders combined for a 27-6 win over Vernal, Utah.

Rangely administrative offices on the move
RANGELY I The school district’s administrative offices are on the move. Again. After moving in May from what used to be the middle school building to the former Parkview Elementary Building, the administrative offices are now headed to the Early Education Center.

200 readers in program
RANGELY I More than 200 readers teamed up to read 3,000 books during the Rangely Regional Library’s Summer Reading Program. To celebrate, the program’s success, the library held its summer reading carnival, which was attended by 170 children and parents.
