‘Annie’ auditions Tuesday at Meeker Rec
MEEKER I Auditions for “Annie Junior” will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Meeker Recreation Center for first- through ninth-graders. Volunteers are needed to help backstage with hair and makeup, etc.

Proud dad anticipates walking daughter down aisle
A couple of weeks ago, I received an unexpected phone call. I was on the phone at the office when I noticed my cell phone vibrating. I saw it was my oldest daughter’s boyfriend who was calling.
Letter: Bark in the Park gets a wag of the tail
A huge thank-you to the Meeker Recreation Center for keeping the dream alive with this year’s Bark In the Park. It was wonderful to see everyone having such a great time socializing and meeting new friends. Thank you for opening the pool up, too, that was priceless.
