Shelton wins 7th title
T.J. Shelton, a seventh-grader at Barone Middle School won his seventh national title, since last November, in Denver last weekend, winning the 122-pound bracket of the Rocky Mountain Nationals.

Track teams open season in Delta
More than 40 boys and girls from Meeker High School are on the track team this year and most of them competed in Delta last Saturday to open the season.

Basketball banquet honors MHS seniors
The MHS boys’ basketball team officially concluded their 2010-2011 season with the annual parent-hosted banquet. Approximately 60 people attended the function that annually honors outgoing senior players.
