Spring has sprung, arriving officially on Sunday, March 20 at 5:21 p.m. What does that mean around here? Not much, as the last frost of the season probably won’t occur until sometime in May and that’s if we’re lucky.
78th annual fireman’s banquet well attended
The 78th annual fireman’s banquet was held the evening of Saturday, March 12. The Freeman Fairfield Center was decorated very nicely, mostly thanks to Rhawnie McGruder and Melissa Kindall.
Montrose couple’s death ruled homicide by coroner
The Montrose County coroner’s office ruled the deaths of a Montrose couple as homicide. The person of interest in the case was later found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a Montrose apartment.
