Club 20 challenges district boundary interests
Club 20 has long advocated that communities of interest should remain intact as boundaries are drawn during redistricting efforts. Many congressional district boundary proposals introduced to the public today by the Joint Select Committee on Redistricting do anything but keep communities of interest intact.

RBC teams play for playoffs
Rio Blanco County’s high school baseball teams met in Rangely yesterday after press time for a doubleheader, which are the final games of the regular season for Meeker and will have district playoff implications for both teams.
County Cup swim dual set for May 6
The County Cup Swim team dual meet will take place Friday, May 6, at 4 p.m., in the Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Parks District’s aquatics center. It will be the first swim meet in the two-year-old facility.
Horse adoption database available
Equidopt.org has been launched by the Colorado Unwanted Horse Alliance (CUHA) and allows people interested in adopting a horse to search an online database of horses that are available from equine rescues in Colorado by criteria like breed, age, gender, discipline and region.
