Norell shines at rodeo
MEEKER I Local cowboys and cowgirls have competed in the annual Range Call rodeo for 127 years and this year Meeker was well represented by Cynda Norell. She won the break-away calf roping with a fast time of 2.7 seconds.

Obituary: Jennie Lee (Clapper) Mulally
Jennie Lee (Clapper) Mullally was born to Irvin “Spec” Clapper and Josephine “Josie” (Davis) Clapper at Pioneers Hospital on June 2, 1953. Following a 17-year battle with cancer, she left her earthly home from the same hospital on July 3, 2012, at age 59.
