Obituary: Marguerite Goudeau
Marguerite Clarke Moreland Goudeau was born July 28, 1921, and died peacefully Feb. 13, 2013, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Big Cane, La., to Samuel Lovel Moreland and Ophelia Clarke Moreland, now deceased.
Snowmobile club looking for members
MEEKER | The Meeker Snowmobile Club, which is responsible for the many miles of groomed snowmobile trails in the area, are wanting more members.
Lady Panthers drop two
RANGELY I The Rangely girls’ basketball team lost games to Paonia and Hotchkiss last week and will play their final game of the regular season in Meeker, this Friday. Rangely hosted Paonia last Friday and lost 26-55, to the league’s No. 1 team.
