MEEKER I Colorado educator perceptions about teacher evaluations declined between 2011 and 2013, according to the Teaching, Empowering, Leading and Learning (TELL) Colorado survey. However, pilot studies of the evaluation system in Denver have shown improvements in educator perceptions during implementation.

Six DI teams from Meeker headed to state
MEEKER I Meeker was well represented with 10 teams at the 2014 Western Slope Regional Destination Imagination Tournament in Rifle during the past weekend. Six of those teams will be going to the state competition in April.

Rangely youth wrestlers get started with 2014 season
RANGELY I Many youth wrestlers from Rangely have already wrestled in two tournaments, with 20 traveling to Vernal, Utah, two weeks ago for a pre-season tournament and several more competing in the Little Warrior tournament on Saturday in Grand Junction.
